DANIELLE AYOW

Danielle is a Chinese-Caribbean-Canadian actor, director and writer. With her own unique dry humour and wit, Danielle received attention for her film BUT YOU’RE NOT BLACK. The film garnered two awards and was featured on TVO, CTV and CBC Radio.

Danielle has also made her mark on TV in such shows as WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS and THE HANDMAID’S TALE. Most recently she appeared as the character Loretta in STREAMS FLOW FROM A RIVER, for which Deadline’s Liz Shackleton called her a “rising star.” As a veteran of commercials, she has represented everything from telecommunications to fast food to asthma medication.

Danielle is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory and holds an Honours B.A. in Theatre from the University of Toronto.
